Here we go! The curtains of the X EDITION of Made in Steel are up. The Conference & Exhibition (fieramilano Rho - Halls 22 and 24) will gather key steel value chain international players who will share their ideas, visions and opinions.
Made in Steel will be the heart of the debate with a rich program of conferences. The three days of live meetings at the siderweb Conference Room (Hall. 24) and the talks at the siderweb Arena (Hall 22) will be an opportunity to bring the sector together under a joint intellectual effort to rethink the future.
The siderweb Conference Room.
We will be starting today (Tuesday, 9 May), from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the siderweb Conference Room, with the opening ceremony and the institutional speeches by Emanuele Morandi (President of Made in Steel and siderweb), Antonio Gozzi (Federacciai resident), Riccardo Benso (Assofermet President), Enrico Pazzali (President of Fondazione Fiera Milano), Stefano Vittorio Kuhn (Head of Retail and Commercial Banking BPER Banca).
From 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Emma Marcegaglia (Chairman and CEO of Marcegaglia Holding) and Claudia Parzani (Partner Linklaters, Chair Borsa Italiana, Deputy Chair Il Sole 24 Ore) will open the Made in Steel 2023 conference program with the conference “The Words of the Future”. They will share with us the words that describe the present and build the future.
From 14:00 to 16:00, the focus will move to Europe with the conference "The Europe of new markets". With Barbara Beltrame (Vice President of Confindustria), Gianpietro Benedetti (President of Danieli Group), Mario Arvedi Caldonazzo (Vice President of Eurofer), Fernando Espada (Eurometal) and Augusto Cosulich (President and CEO of Fratelli Cosulich), we will discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead of the Italian and European steel sector.
The siderweb Arena.
One of the novelties of this edition of Made in Steel is the siderweb Arena. A space where, in a talk show format, a storyteller will talk about virtuous experiences and case histories on a specific topic, offering new insight and triggering thoughtful reflections.
To inaugurate this new space, from 14:30 to 16:00, is Fabio Tavelli, (Sky Sport journalist) with the talk “Communicate steel. Beyond steel.” An opportunity to reiterate the powerful narrative behind a metal that is the father and the mother of every value chain.
From 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Fabio Tavelli will be entrusted with the talk "Generations: the future is for young people". Generational handover is at the centre of the discussion: how fathers, sons and daughters can create new stories and tell new tales
